David Warner, the left-handed Australian batsman currently playing a crucial role in the ashes. He enjoys international popularity for his attacking style and has captivated millions of hearts with his remarkable performance in his national team. 1) Exceptional ability as a child

David Warner joined the first coastal cricket club of Sydney at only the young age of 5. He continued to dominate all of his junior competitions throughout his childhood.

2) The move to switch from left to right

In his early age, Warner was advised by a coach to switch to right-hand batting which he did but lasted only for a season after which he returned to the natural ability to be a diminutive left-handed batsman.

Warner was the only player to directly represent the national team without any experience of playing first-class matches.

When an Australian journalist wrote a negative account of the IPL, Warner sent him a few abusive tweets as a comeback.

Warner has scored 9 half-centuries in 16 innings making him recognized as genuine cricket hero.
16) Imposition of heavy fine on Warner
In June 2013, Warner was fined approximately 11,500 Australian dollars and was banned from playing for Australia till the first Ashes Test.

Warner grabbed his place in the top batsmen of the world very early when he played his ODI debut against South Africa scoring a very intense score of 69 runs.
