Revival of International Cricket in Pakistan

International cricket in Pakistan; something that we never believed we would see again in this life has now actually happened and Pakistanis are overly enthusiastic to rejoice this victory against terrorism. The love for cricket has been running in millions of veins throughout the nation and fortunately, it’s not time to end the detention and just celebrate!

The Cost of a return

Emotions have been on the high throughout as the public watches international cricket favorites play in our local grounds at Qaddafi Stadium. To provide security of the highest ranks to these international guests, Lahore had to face blocked roads and unreal traffic jams but the overwhelming feeling of being the host to cricket once again won against the disappointment of being stuck on the routes for hours.
What the country has now attained is the reputation and pride it lost when Pakistani players had to face exile from home grounds after the sorrowful attacks on SriLankan players in March 2009, which led to a united boycott of cricket in Pakistan from the International Cricket Board.
